Sledding

After Hardware Ranch we decided to get some sledding in. It was so fun!!! Clay trying to relive his Younger Days
Stockton biffed it pretty good here.
And Yes, This is my 71 year old Grandma Jenae sledding down the hill. Isn't she awesome? I want to be just like her someday.

Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We are so blessed to have such great families who do so much for us. Stockton was so much fun this year. He is such a good boy and we love him so much. Ridge didn't do much but Stockton was sure happy to help him open all his presents and tell Ridge about each one. He is such a good big brother. Stockton at Grandpa and Grandma Wayment's house

Hardware Ranch

My Aunt Tawna and Uncle Ryan came to visit last week from South Dakota and we were able to do so many fun things with them. First we went to Hardware Ranch. It was so much fun. I put on a Snugli under one of Clay's big camo coats to put Ridge in so he would stay nice and warm. It worked really good, but I felt a little awkward wearing it. There were 520 elk that came in to be fed that day. That is a lot of Elk! We had so much fun!!! Thanks Tawna, Ryan, and Grandma for letting us go with you. Ridge, Santa, and Super Snowman

Here are a few pictures of my little Ridge. He is getting too big so fast. I can't believe he is already 5 weeks old. We are loving having him as part of our little family. Stockton has had a few rough days, but all in all, things have been going good. Little sleep, poopy butts, puke, crying, being pooped on, being thrown up on constantly, with all these things we are still loving our little man. Here he is on the bili-lights at home.

Last night we had my West Family Christmas Party and Santa was able to come and visit the kids. Stockton didn't like him at all. It isn't all that surprising though, because at all the rodeos during the summer he wouldn't muttin' bust if there were any clowns anywhere. He is totally scared of them. But Clay told him he had to go and tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas or he wasn't going to get any toys on Christmas.

Clay told Stockton yesterday that they could go out and build a snowman. Well, we had such a crazy day there was not enough time to go out and build one, so they went out today after church. It was probably a good thing they waited because they were able to build a pretty awesome snow man with all the snow we got over the night.
The snow was too heavy for Clay to get up. Ha ha ha

Meet Ridge William Marriott

So hear is the story of Ridge William Marriott-
I called the hospital Thursday morning to make sure they had room for me to be induced. The head nurse said they would call me later when they had a little more staff and I could come in then. So I told her that I had been having a few pains and would really like to come in at my scheduled 8am time. She said I could come in. We went in and they checked me and I was dialated to a 5 plus!!! So they hooked me up. I was hooked up to the pitocin for a good 2 hours with no further progression on my dialation. I was 100% effaced though, so Dr. Seale came in a broke my water at 12:45 pm. The nurse came in around 2:15 to check me and I was a complete. She hurried and called my Dr. I pushed for 4 mintues through 2 contractions and Ridge William Marriott was born at 2:48pm. Then they put him on the scale and told us he was 8lbs 8oz!!!! Holy Crap!!! He was 20.5 inches long. I am so lucky to have a wonderful husband who was there with me through the whole thing. The looks on his face were priceless through this entire ordeal. I love him and am so thankful for him. I wish Stockton could have been there to meet his little brother, but with the Swine Flu epidemic the hospitals have limited the number of vistors per patient to two people and no one under the age of 14 is even allowed. So we decided to have no vistitors until Stockton could meet his brother first. It was hard because I really wanted my mom to be there with me, but things worked out just fine.

Stockton's first time meeting and holding his little brother. He was so excited that he could barely hold still long enough to hold Ridge. Stockton is going to be a great Big Brother.
